I have been a PR manager for 25 years working across finance, health and tourism and am fully CIPR qualified and have also worked as a journalist and studied to MSc level.
I created my own PR business, Interwoven PR in December 2013 and am currently working on a range of cultural projects, charity/social enterprises, tourism and part-time contracts around Scotland. Recent PR projects include work with Aero Space Kinross, Loch Ewe 75 Festival, Living Solutions, Community Shares Scotland (including New Galloway Save Our Shop, GlenWyvis Distillery project, Portpatrick Harbour and Cultybraggan community share launches), Fair Trade Fiesta, Ethical Christmas Fair, fashionaBLE at Waverley Station events with Locomotive Markets and promotion of Martin Aelred, opera singer.
Each of these projects is mapped out with a response to the brief, a concerted and engaging PR plan involving a mix of staged events; stunts and direct pitches to media with evaluation reports on coverage and social media. Budget planning is outlined and reported on, as each project rolls out showing the range of PR and marketing tactics undertaken.
